Bike Wont Idle . May 17, 2021 #1 my gas bike won’t idle. Please no comments saying everyone knows this this is so easy and what not.

As the bike would start with revs but have no idle, i thought maybe it could be the idle jet in the carb, so stripped it down, cleaned. If not, i would do that. Here are list of symptoms for my new build:

Discussion starter · #1 · may 5, 2011. My bike will start normally most of the time and i can ride off quite quickly. The bike won't idle for 2 reasons. The choke has 3 positions. If not, i would do that.

Actually learning how the fuel system works is a must for anyone wanting to repair and tune for themselves. Engine starts with medium choke and slight throttle.
